First Day of Castles

Day 1 – Thursday – First Day of Castles

Today was really the first day of vacation. Previously Karl was attending the EAGE.

We made it to three different castles today – Inveraray Castle, Dunstaffnage Castle, and the Stirling Castle. And we covered about 220 miles to get it done.

Today I attended a workshop, “Exploration Risk Analysis: A Pragmatic Overview” given by Peter Rose and Jeff Brown (of Rose & Associates, LLP.) that started a 9am and ran until about 5:30pm.

I landed in Manchester only to discover that their baggage system was not working. I managed to finally get my bags and catch the train from Manchester to Glasgow. That left at 9:32 and got me into Glasgow about 2pm.
