It’s been almost a year since I purchased my dream bicycle. I was having dinner with a friend when I started talking about the fact that “someday” I wanted to have a bicycle with Campagnolo components. He said, “You’ve been saying that for 10 years! Are you going to wait until you can’t ride anymore?”
Call to action!
I also wanted to ship a bicycle to Texas so that I could ride when I visit there – which is frequently.
My Build
I found Nice Bikes and worked with David and Sacha to get the build I wanted. I knew I wanted Campagnolo components. But after trying a couple of frames, I liked the Colonago frame. So we aligned on “an Italian bicycle”.
I ended up with a bicycle with all Italian parts except for the Stages power meter and my Wahoo Speedplay pedals.
Here is a link to that very sweet build.

So much fun! I feel like a kid again.
This is a picture taken just outside the Nature Center on the top of Lookout Mountain.
Cheers,
